Brands Hatch
Over the last few years, Cameraworld has organised a day at Brands Hatch. The cost is very low - £5 for advance tickets. For that, you get entry into Brands Hatch with action on the track for most of the day, as well as access to the dealers and - provided you book in advance - some photo walks.
For the first time, I was around on the day and so went along. I had booked on three photo walks - the first one was really good with advice on panning to get motion shots of the cars. The second was not really my thing - they set up a model and lights and people queued up to take it in turns to take pictures - not a lot of training. The last was very specific on particular lenses that would not work on my camera - next time I will need to be quicker to make sure to get on the walks that are relevant to my gear.
Still - I managed to get quite a few photos.
