VE Day Flypast
Although the anniversary of VE Day is actually 8 May, as 5 May was a Bank Holiday, many of the celebrations were held today, including a flypast over Buckingham Palace. We were out in the garden waiting for the planes to come over, but the first planes (The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) flew a but further over than expected. However, a quick run up the road (making sure not to trip over with my camera in hand) allowed me to see the rest of the planes, including the Red Arrows.
